Can’t build a new boat without also upgrading the electronics. We’ve custom designed a brand new BLDC motordriver to be used in the boat. A Big thanks for Rabobank and the members whom voted for Engineers of innovation during the “Rabobank Club Support” competition. We will use the money for further development of our new solar boat!
The first layers of carbon fiber, peel-ply, bleeder and epoxy are under vacuum. Soon the sandwich material and further layers will follow.

Finally we can reveal our big news!Engineers of Innovation has begun building a new solarboat. For years we have walked around with the idea of designing our own boat and leave the V20 category. In the past couple of weeks with thanks to our members and sponsors this idea became a reality!
