The barbecue hosted for members, contributors and everyone interested the last Saturday was a huge success. A night filled with good food, laughter and great new ideas and insights on what to improves first on the boat. We hope all the questions about the boat could be answered. We are very proud to announce that we are third in this years V20 solar boat race overall rankings. Also we got a very special price from Yacht Club Monaco, the “YCM Spirit Price”. This price is awarded to the team with the best team-spirit, sportsmanship and helped out other teams despite there own problems. We are delighted to receive this heart warming price and we would like to thank all our members for this. With this great feeling we will work hard to get even better results next season.

The registrations to participate in these races are unfortunately already closed, but we still offer an option to join. It is possible to have a photo, image or text on the boat for € 10, -. This photo must be at least 5cm x 5cm in size and will remain on the boat throughout the season. This not only supports the association but still gives you a chance to go to Purmerend, Groningen, Leeuwarden and of course Monaco.

 

What a weekend! After a weekend packed with sun, good vibes and races the first solar race of the season is a fact. With an amazing third place we can successfully look back to an amazing start of the season. We want to thanks the organization and everyone who helped make this event possible, and we will see you at the next race!!!

Yesterday we passed the pre-season check. We are ready for the first race of the year, this week from 11 to 12 May we will be present at the NK Solar Boat Race in Akkrum.
